Stop in and pick up a card. Get ‘Bingo’ and receive a FREE skein of yarn! Card is stamped for every yarn purchased on the card, get four stamps in a row diagonal, horizontal or vertical and win a free
skein from that row.
 
We’re all concerned about heating & electricity costs this year.
Start knitting now – afghans, blankets and sweaters, etc.

 

Volunteer to Knit (V2K) has been growing and the amount of hand-knitted items has increased tremendously. This summer items were delivered to Manchester Hospital, Children’s Medical Center, St. Francis Cancer Center, and Interval House in Hartford. Join us on Thursday afternoons or Friday nights or knit at home and bring your items in to add to others. Ideas include adult & children’s chemo caps, blankets and lap throws, warm hats, mittens, scarves, sweaters, and socks for displaced families.

 

We will close early Friday, Aug 29th at 1:00 pm, be closed all day Saturday, Aug 30th for Labor Day weekend. The Knitting Nook will reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd.
